Community FAQs

Find answers to common questions about living at Everleigh, from amenities to community events, to help you feel right at home.

DOES EVERLEIGH HAVE A DOG PARK?

Yes. The dog park is located opposite Everleigh AFL Oval and includes approximately 4,000sqm of fenced space with designated areas for both small and large dogs.

ARE THERE TOILETS IN ANY OF THE PARKS AT EVERLEIGH?

Yes. There are toilets located between the Everleigh Park events lawn and the future recreation park.  The toilet block consists of 6 toilet cubicles including 2 PWD cubicles which include change tables.

ARE THERE ANY NEW HIGH SCHOOLS PLANNED FOR THE AREA?

Yes. Recent updates to State Government education planning have identified a need for up to 7 new high schools within the Greater Flagstone Priority Development Area. One of the newly proposed high schools is within Everleigh, although we must note this is marked as “subject to state agency acquisition” meaning this is not yet definite. The Everleigh high school opportunity also has a nominal delivery timing of 2041. Community feedback strongly indicates a high school is required in the locality as a priority and the Everleigh project team continues to engage with Dept of Education on opportunities to accelerate delivery.

We will be sure to update the community with more details as they become available. Note the next closest proposed high school (outside Everleigh) is planned approximately 4km south west of Everleigh. If you have any questions, please contact the Queensland Department of Education directly on 13 74 68.

ARE THERE SHOPS NEARBY?

There are a number of shopping options within close proximity to Everleigh.

ARE THERE SCHOOLS NEARBY?

Everleigh State Primary School is located within easy walking distance for most residents. Additionally, your family can take advantage of a range of childcare, early learning and public & private schools in the area.

WHEN WILL ANOTHER ENTRANCE TO THE ESTATE OPEN?

Mirvac is making progress on a second entrance to the estate via Anderson Drive connected to Teviot Road. However, the intersection to connect Anderson Drive to Teviot Road is being delivered exclusively by Logan City Council as part of their Teviot Road Upgrade Project and the exit will not be trafficable until works are complete. Logan City Council estimates completion of the intersection works by late 2024 subject to weather and unforeseen program delays.
