FIRST HOME BUYER FAMILY PUT DOWN ROOTS AT EVERLEIGH

Emmanuel and Priscilla Segun spent nine months searching for the perfect place to build their first home, and to join a community that would meet the needs of their growing family, with children aged four, ten and eleven.

The Brisbane family from Algester stopped their search in early 2024, after discovering Mirvac’s Everleigh masterplanned community in Greenbank, impressed by its green spaces, vibrant local community, and lifestyle amenities.

“We had considered locations and estates all across South-East-Queensland, but it wasn’t until we visited Everleigh that we knew we found exactly the welcoming and pristine community that we had been searching for to put down roots and build our home,” says Emmanuel.

“As soon as we drove into the community, we noticed the attention to detail and significant consideration Mirvac had put into the design and planning of Everleigh’s masterplan.

“From the wide roads, well maintained parks and playgrounds, to the streetscaping, we knew right from our first visit this was a community that took pride in itself and considers how residence will live and use the space.

“With three young children, we were also drawn to Everleigh because of the primary school located onsite. We have seen lots of residents walking their kids to and from school and are excited at the opportunity to do the same with our kids.

“Everleigh is without doubt the perfect community to raise children. It reminds me of my childhood, with families and kids outside in the afternoons and on weekends making the most of the parks, playgrounds, riding their bikes and spending quality time together.”

Priscilla says she and her husband immediately contacted Everleigh’s sales team after their first visit to register for the next land release.

“We knew demand for a homesite at Everleigh was high, with the community very popular and for good reason. So, we were quick to call the sales team and discuss next steps.

“We registered for the next land release and were fortunate to secure a 420sqm lot to build a five-bedroom home with Neptune Homes, who we had come across at the Everleigh display village.

“It has been a great experience customising our first home to meet our family’s needs and suit our tastes.

“For others considering building their first home, our advice is, if you have the means, do it now,” she says.
