Everleigh experienced significant growth in 2020, with new residents making the move to the community, construction starting on three new land releases and work getting underway on dozens of beautiful new homes – and there’s so much more to come in the next 12 months. Here’s a few of the exciting additions earmarked for the community in 2021.

LEAF PARK

Everleigh’s second park – Leaf Park – has just opened. Surrounded by 93 mature trees and 3,500 plants, the park is adventure central with a four-tower playground, five-way swing system, fitness equipment, a picnic shelter, two sports walls with basketball hoops and soccer goals, and a scooter and cycle path with mini road markings. If you or your furry friend are thirsty, don’t worry, there is also bubblers, a bottle filler and dog bowl.

This is just the start of our park network, with plenty more green open spaces on the horizon at Everleigh – stay tuned.

NEW STATE PRIMARY SCHOOL

Keep your eyes peeled because early works are starting on the new State primary school at Everleigh. The site for the $66 million school was handed over to the Queensland Department of Education late last year, which will construct the built form. The school will be in walking distance to most homes in Everleigh and take enrolments for Term 1, 2022. The new buildings within the school include resource and prep learning centres and a multi-purpose hall.

There’s also a private primary school on the cards for Pub Lane and a State secondary earmarked for a site 4km south-west of Everleigh.

NEXT LAND RELEASE

The next Everleigh land release is due to be launched early this year via an Expression of Interest (EOI) process. The new release will include a range of lots to suit various home designs, all nestled in beautiful natural surrounds, with most within 400 metres of a green space.

Homesites in this new stage – like all at Everleigh – will also benefit from the community’s position in Brisbane’s fast growing south-west corridor, close to the bustling centre of Springfield and range of recreation and transport facilities nearby.

To register head to everleigh.mirvac.com, call (07) 3859 5960 or visit the Everleigh Sales Centre and Display Village at 56 Kessels Boulevard, Greenbank, between 10am and 5pm daily.

SPORTS OVALS

The Everleigh team is looking forward to commencing earthworks on a new sport and recreation park and oval later this year. The parkland is due to start construction around mid-year and will sit alongside the new State primary school, creating an active and healthy hub at the heart of the community.

Everleigh will ultimately feature more than 25 hectares of parkland, linked to a network of pathways, cycle ways and roads.

COMMUNITY ACTIVITIES

Everleigh’s dedicated community engagement team, Enriching Communities Greenbank, is gearing up for another busy year of events and activations in and around the community. Keep your eye on social media for an exciting calendar of wellness, craft, kids and family activities in 2021.
