With our focus on green open spaces — including conservation bushland, regional parks, the upcoming sporting fields and wetlands — and a comprehensive community engagement program, Everleigh provides plenty of opportunities for the whole family to stay fit and be active.

Walking Tracks

The Everleigh masterplan includes 148 hectares of conservation bushland and walking trails that will act as links within our community and beyond.

Beautiful little pedestrian laneways create shortcuts for residents between homes, connect Everleigh to nearby conveniences — like the Greenbank Shopping Centre — and are home to our new community planter gardens (built by the incredible team at the Greenbank Men’s Shed!).

Plus, when our new onsite state primary school opens in Term One 2022, every home in our community will be within walking distance, making it easy to travel actively from your doorstep to the classroom.

Parks

When the school bell rings in the afternoon, there’s endless fun to be found in our two parks — Everleigh Park and Leaf Park. Even more green spaces are set to come, with the Everleigh community to include 25 hectares of regional sports and recreation parks once complete.

Located on Everleigh Drive, the award-winning Everleigh Park includes a junior playground, climbing nets, BBQ shelter and stairs (perfect for your step-up exercises). There’s also an events lawn, which plays home to plenty of community activities.

Our latest park, Leaf Park, opened earlier this year and is a nature haven surrounded by mature trees and thousands of plants. It’s also a favourite with the older kids, thanks to its playground, swings and fitness equipment. There’s even pathways for our resident scooter enthusiasts!

Take an afternoon stroll, practice shooting hoops, kick the ball around, or even explore the Everleigh Elf Door Trail. There are 15 elves who call Everleigh home, so have some fun finding each one of their adorable front doors, hidden throughout the Everleigh and Leaf parks.
